My name is Saskia Cobb. My husband and I moved from DFW to Marietta a few weeks ago. We are so excited to put down roots in Georgia! This May, I received my bachelor's degree in materials science and engineering from Texas A&M University. While I lack farm experience, my engineering education has equipped me with transferable skills that directly apply to farm work. I am familiar with tackling complex, multi-step projects under tight deadlines, while ensuring high quality results. My internship experiences taught me how to adapt quickly to changing circumstances. Also, I love nature and want to work closely with it. I thrive in outdoor, hands-on environments and I am physically capable of laborious work. Several years ago I learned about raw milk and regenerative farming. Ever since, it captivated me and I have longed to be involved in that work. My visits to Texas farms to pick up local meats and produce, deepened my passion for cultivating the land and working with livestock. The move my husband and I made to Georgia feels like the perfect opportunity to pursue that passion full-time and I am fully committed to putting in the hard work to become a valuable worker on the farm/homestead.
