I'm a 42 y/o gym owner and father of two baby boys (18m & 6m). We rent a home in Lodi, Ca., and are very happy and stable in our current situation. However, the world is quickly changing, and we are actively searching for means to mitigate negative effects on our two boys as they grow. My wife and I run our business, raise and feed our children, and tend to our chickens and garden. We grow as much food as we possibly can in our backyard. Corn, potatoes, squash, tomatoes , eggs and more. We know that working a homestead will come with many difficulties a lot of hard labor. Both of us are conditioned specifically for working all day. We're both strong, and willing to work hard. Also, as our boys grow their labor will be invaluable. We are not looking for a short term situation. We would like to permanently relocate and help on a homestead long term. We would like to trade labor for a living space. We know there are a lot of people aging out of farming and homesteading, so we are also willing to be caretakers for older people in the process of working the land and making our presence valuable. If there's somebody out there who could benefit from our situation, we'd love to hear from you. Thank you for your time, Seamus Lynch
