An older couple striving to lead a simpler, more sustainable life on acreage deep in the Cascade Mountains of Washington State. We try to grow as much of our own food, have a hybrid solar/grid power system, and have chickens and dogs. This is the oldest homestead in our little valley (about 150 years old).
